4-H Aggie Adventures For Kids Summer Camps 2009

Come explore the wonderful, slimy, wet, magic, and beautiful world of nature at the Utah Botanical Center this summer!  Each summer camp in our series is designed for a particular age group and is full of fun, hands-on experiments for investigating the world in which we live.

Camps are held at the Utah House, 920 South 50 West in Kaysville

Acorn Day Camps

For children ages 5-7
Tuition includes snack, supplies and fun!
Acorn Camp hours: 9:00am - noon

Owls, Spells, and Potions
Make your own wand, visit the enchanted forest, practice making potions and casting spells. 
June 11th

Bugs! A Creepy Crawly Adventure
Discover the world of bugs, spiders and butterflies
June 18th
Tuition: $20.00

Slimy, Gooey, Gross
Investigate worms, snot, smells and other icky things.
June 25th
Tuition: $20.00

Pine Nut Camp hours: 10:00am - 2:00pm

For all aspiring wizards and witches who want to practice potion making, flubberworm care, and learn about owls.

Energy Explorers
Cook a snack with the sun's energy, pedal your own electricity, explore energy with these fun hands-on science experiments.
June 17th

Water World
Have fun with water! This camp includes all kinds of water experiments and ends with a big splash!
June 24th
Tuition: $25.00

Witches and Wizards

Take a picture using sunlight, paint a picture with watercolors, and become inspired by the beauty of nature.
July 7th and July 8th
